Have you ever wanted to be a hair model. It's fun and you
can even get a free hair style. It takes a lot of confidence because sometimes
you may have to model in front of total strangers for a hair show or even a
photographer.
Steps
1Build a portfolio. If you can't afford that, find a
photographer who will photograph you at your natural state, namely, with your
natural hair, no or minimal make up. Try to get a few different angles, i.e.
front, sides, back.
2Once you get your photos back, select a nice looking
portfolio book to show cast them in. All black is usually best. Print your
photos at an 8X10 print size, as they just look better.
3Put your game-face on and make some visits. Contact you
local beauty salons and show off your work. If you want, you can leave them
with mini pictures or comp cards with your contact information on it, so that
they can reach you whenever they have an event going on.
Tips
Don't pick a photographer just because he may do it for
free; be careful. Pick a photographer that will benefit you.
Make sure your photographer signs a release for your photos.
Protect yourself.
You might get rejections, but you have to keep pushing and
hoping for the best.

Some photographers are predators. Be alert. Ask for
references and examples of previous work.
